한강 레스토랑

August 23, 2012

Around June 2012, with my best friend I went to Korean Culture Center – SCBD. But, the library closed!. There was an event (Korean Speak Contest) that day at FIB UI (lupa kalau ada event itu). Finally we decided to go to 한강 in Pasific Place.

Walking on Pasific Place just with sandal jepit dan tampilan yang casual abis (baca : ngegembel, hehe) exactly at lunch on weekdays! berasa jadi ‘keset’ di tengah-tengah para wanita cantik dengan ‘style’ + ‘stiletto’-nya yang eyecatching banget! ditambah para esmud yang bening-bening itu #emang ada??. I looked at them, theirs and whispered “ini sih, high maintenance punya!” *ngitung gaji sebulan* #sambil ngaca ;p.

Some people said “cost living + working in downtown Jakarta is high! life stylenya sometimes crazy!”. Haha. It’s depend on us how to handle it. Remind me about my office. I said “ah, biasa aja kok kerja di Jakarta” then my patner in office said :”lah, kasta lo kan beda!!” *saya : ngakak* #ups. Kebayang kalau Menara Kadin di approved #ehh?

Honestly, I like standing on this atmosphere (baca : di tempat high class gini), meskipun menempati kasta paling bawah #haha. For me, the important thing is : just be the way you are. Masih banyak insan yang bijak kok menghadapi prestigiousnya working in downtown Jakarta. Belajar dan bersahabatlah kepada orang-orang seperti mereka, yang sudah banyak makan asam garam (example : bu manager muda yang satu ini, sederhana + cerdas + qonaah #sambil melirik my best friend).

That’s why I really love working with people whom just be the way they are. I remembered someone said : “you said that : kamu standar-standar saja, emang! *gubrakk* but I don’t care! I just care the way how you handle yours, it could represent you!” #maunya sih ngelempar pake stiletto, tapi nggak punya -_-”

Oke, this is 한강 레스토랑 at Pacific Place, #5 – 37, Jl. Jend. Sudirman Kav. 52 – 53. Karena posisinya di corner, agak ribet take picturenya. Jadilah ini yang diambil. Almost semua layout resto di sini standar, ornamentnya saja yang membuatnya sedikit bebeda. #yang diambil malah lapak sebelah

These are the menu which we ordered at 한강 레스토랑.

First. This is 김치찌개. Kimchi Jjiggae means spicy kimchi with beef soup (in Indonesia : PINDANG with rempah-rempah khas korea #ngasal). Tastenya lumayan than 삼원집 (Samwon House) yang Kimchi Jjiggae-nya terlalu pekat. Harga juga SEDIKIT lebih rasional *sewot ya, padahal di traktir ini*

Second. This is 떡봌이. Tteokbokki means sweet and spicy stir-fried rice cake (in Indonesia : CILLOKK ini mah namanya, with sauce asam-manis -_-‘). My sonsaengnim said : Korean food in Indonesia is really expensive! better you make by your self”. Bener banget kayaknya.

Third. Nah, this is the most recomemded if you wanna try! tastenya friendly di lidah. 돌솥 비빔밥. Dolsot Bibimbap means hot stone pot rice mixed with meat, vegetables and egg. That’s the way eat bibimbab, just mix everything in hot stone pot. Dari 한국 식당 di FISIP-UI, 한강 di Pasific Place dan 삼원집 di Setiabudi One, menu ini yang paling friendly. But SAY NO for the price! hiksss. (in indonesia : nasi goreng/nasi pecel deh *hehe, beda bumbu aja* #lebih murah indonesia punya! price 7.000 – 10.000 IDR = kenyangg!).

And last but not least, here she is. My best friend. Ibu manager yang kena virus 한류 -_-‘, lagi sedep bener makan 김치찌개.

Then I give you some 한강 메뉴. I got it when I was googling.

Oh iya, if you go to korean resto, you’ll get 반찬. Banchan means side dish. You can look at the picture, disamping 떡봌이. Isinya ada : teri, bayam, kimchi, kerang, lobak sometimes labu. Satu lagi, keripik singkong -_-‘.

Over all, the tastenya 맛있었어요 #daripada di lempar pake stiletto sama yang nraktir ;p. Semoga bermanfaat.
